The wavelength of the fiber laser marking machine is 1064NM, which belongs to infrared light at noon, and it is easy to produce high temperature. If there are materials that are sensitive to heat, they will feel burnt. However, on metal, the fiber laser marking machine will not produce any significant changes to the metal surface.

The application of UV laser marking machine in metal materials is still relatively rare. Nowadays, fiber laser marking machine is the mainstream in the market for metal material marking. The main reason is that the price of UV laser marking machine is too expensive and the power is relatively low (currently mainly 3W and 5W). If the UV laser marking machine can reach 10w-20w, then it will not be a problem to mark any material. In addition, the radiation of UV light wave is relatively large, while the radiation of fiber is much smaller, so fiber is more easily accepted by customers.
